Event details
The corporate world can be hard to navigate even when you are highly educated and well-informed. Luckily, others have decided to share their stories and ideas through books, so that we can benefit from a collective knowledge. In our program, we are going to hear our three fantastic panelists share about these three books:
Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead - Sheryl Sandberg, CEO - Facebook
Thrive - Ariana Huffington, columnist - The Huffington Post
Multipliers: How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smart - Liz Wiseman, president - The Wiseman Group
Jennifer Muszik, HBA president elect and moderator, will ask them how these books related to their lives and careers. We all have our own story. Come listen as we hear how reading these bestselling books can provide us lessons that apply to our own careers.
Learning objectives
1. Discover how other's lessons can apply to your own experiences
2. Recognize the importance of taking charge of one's career development
