Event description
Transitions present both challenges and opportunities. Join us for this engaging presentation by Kathy Sturgis, PhD, who will be talking about proactively preparing for transition. The program will cover:
1. Adopting an “opportunity mindset” based on the facts (why now is a good time for transition in the RTP)
2. Understanding the transition process – learn more about what to expect and assess where you are in the transition process
3. Connecting vision to action with the “career development checklist” – apply the 3 visioning questions and determine your next steps
4. Summoning your positive power – gather some communication and networking tips to support your success

1. Learn the difference between change and transition and locate yourself on the transition scale    
2. Connect vision to action with 3 simple questions
3. Plan your next steps and gather some quick tips to jumpstart your networking/communication
