Planning Your Journey to Corporate Boards - Readiness and Recruitment

Even though women now hold a record of 22.6% of board seats in the US, it is clearly a long way until true gender parity.

Many of us view "The Board" as this almighty Oz-like entity that holds answers to the many questions that we have, such as: How are board prospects identified, vetted and selected? What skill sets are boards looking for? And how do you actually get on a board?

During this event, our speakers all with previous and/or current board experience, will share what are common qualifications of successful candidates vying for a board of director's seat, provide insight into leveraging your career development to be board-ready, and offer tips on how today's successful professionals can get their first seat on a corporate board.

The format will be a panel discussion and then break-out into smaller groups with our experts.

Through this event, we hope to help push the bar in closing the gender gap and we believe that with this start, “You could can do it too!"
