Event description
Try out a new, exciting way to develop leadership competencies in yourself while working on your physical fitness. This program is for women open to taking on, for the first time, the sport of triathlon. A triathlon is an event where you swim, bike and run. Please note: Most of the events will take place in the Greater Philadelphia region.
Through this sport, you will learn new things about yourself, your abilities of inspirational leadership, and you will cause a new level of fitness for your body and your leadership in life.
You will:
Swim • Bicycle • Run
• Participate in two one-hour calls per month from January - June 2016
• Utilize a team and social media for support
• Develop your leadership in ways you never dreamed possible
This is a six-month program that will take place both virtually on bi-monthly teleconference calls and also through in-person group work-outs once per month from January to June 2016.
As a member of the team, you will plan and be coached in your fitness training as well as participate in conversations connecting the benefits, values and competencies useful for the practice of leadership. Experts in nutrition, running, swimming, cycling, weight training, time management, inspirational leadership and more will be part of your learning experience.
