Webinar: Women in the Workplace - The Women of Color’s Perspective
Although some companies have made a commitment to gender diversity, women remain significantly underrepresented. Women of color have reported that their race has played a role in missed opportunities and made it harder for advancement. Join us to hear from keynote speaker, Shirell A. Gross, Esq. inspirational leader and coach. Shirell is passionate about helping women (and men) and particularly women of color live their vision of success in their professional and personal life. The founders of the Women of Color (WoC) affinity group will join the conversation to provide a brief overview of their career path, highlight specific challenges they have faced and strategies they have implemented to overcome them. They will also share the guiding principles of the WoC charter, goals for the affinity group and planned activities for 2020.
