Join the HBA LA, as well as our friends at UCLA Anderson Healthcare Business Association, for a screening of an incredible film focused on funding women entrepreneurs. After the film screening, we will debrief and network!

This is a story that’s never been told.

"SHOW HER THE MONEY" shines a spotlight on the stark reality that women receive less than 2% of venture capital funding. This film seeks to unravel the complexities of venture capital, showcasing formidable female investors committed to funding women entrepreneurs whose groundbreaking innovations promise to reshape the world. The narrative centers around the journeys of four tenacious entrepreneurs who face relentless challenges as they strive to transform their pioneering ideas into thriving enterprises. Supported by the sage guidance and financial backing of their angel investors, these women demonstrate unparalleled determination, ingenuity, and resilience. The documentary captures their awe-inspiring business growth, highlighting their potential to rise as "unicorns" – businesses valued at over a billion dollars. "SHOW HER THE MONEY" underscores the critical message: for women to reach true equality, access to capital is essential.
