HBA OLD METRO AREA PRESENTS

Patient Advocacy in the Evolving Oncology Healthcare Landscape

Event description
Patient advocacy in the rapidly evolving oncology healthcare landscape is very challenging. Join Novartis Oncology’s EWIN (Empowering Women to Impact Now) for informative presentations and a panel discussion where you will hear and learn about the patient advocates’ viewpoints in this evolving landscape, i.e. what’s working well, what needs to change in the future.

Patient advocacy organizations are at the forefront of understanding patient needs and lowering barriers to treatment access and achieving positive outcomes. Collaborations are vital in the ever-changing oncology landscape to ensure patients care needs are met.

Join us and our esteemed panel at this exciting event where they will discuss and share:
- How the oncology landscape and care is changing as a result of precision oncology
- Perspectives on how industry and the patient advocate community are collaborating to address precision oncology through innovative activities
 - The patient and advocate role in advancing oncology clinical trial research and drug development

Learning objectives
1. Recognize how the oncology landscape and care is changing as a result of precision oncology
2. Identify ways that the industry and the patient advocate community is working to address precision oncology through innovative activities
