Event description
One-quarter of all employees view their jobs as the number one stressor in their lives. Many of us work in 24/7 connected, always-on and highly demanding work cultures where stress and the risk of burnout are widespread. Since the pace and intensity of our work are not likely to change, it’s more important than ever to build resilience skills to navigate your career and life effectively.
Please join Susan Peppercorn, certified coach, career consultant and HBA executive mentor for a workshop as we explore ways to foster resiliency.
The workshop will include a presentation, interactive exercises and a list of suggested resources. The goal is to provide strategies and tools for building participants' resilience at work and home.
Learning objectives
1. Learn what resilience is and how to foster it
2. Learn how to develop a “positivity currency” and other practical tools from validated research in positive psychology.
3. Steps to take when you’re starting to feel burned out
