HBA BRUSSELS PRESENTS

Boosting your energy, happiness and success by using your authentic strengths

Why this is important: By playing to our strengths we achieve multiple benefits for personal and professional growth, job success and happiness. Strengths increase confidence and assertiveness and empower us to become the drivers of our own career development – and help leaders to bring out the best of their staff. Research with the Harrison Solutions Systems shows that employees who enjoy at least 75% of their job are approximately 3 times more likely to succeed than employees who enjoy less than 75% of their job.

90 minute online virtual course osted by Stefanie Zechner and Christian Ferragamo – Zoom based with facilitated group sessions/break-out groups. The webinar will include a short introduction to the topic and setting the scene, by drawing on the latest research in psychology and neuroscience. This will be followed by facilitated break-out group sessions for participants to apply and embed their learning. Suggested components covered in the webinar:
• Why Positive Psychology and Neuroscience are rediscovering strengths
• Defining strengths, talents, skills, competencies – a clarification of these constructs
• Highlighting the relationship between strengths, happiness and job success
• Break-out groups for self-reflection and discussion: What makes you successful? How to recognize your own strengths and the strengths of others

Outcomes/Take-away for participants:
• Understanding how you can boost your energy, increase happiness and success by being “Your Best You” – by consciously and consistently playing to your strengths (and be mindful of your weaknesses)
• Increased confidence and assertiveness
• A more developed sense of Growth Mindset which will further enhance your development going forward

Tools: Free “Your Greatest Strengths Report” from Harrison Assessment Solutions for every participant – 2-page narrative report which can be used for CV creation, interview preparation, career planning
