Paving Your Career Journey: Creating a Pathway to Optimize Your Success and Harness Your Passion

Career planning should be a continuous journey of self-assessment, exploration, research, decision making and ultimately taking action. The process of career planning should not be a difficult task, but rather an activity that should be liberating and fulfilling, providing goals to achieve in your current career or plans for beginning a transition to a new career.

There are several ways to create a successful career plan that should be done on a regular basis. Some of those include reflecting on what your likes and dislikes are, as well as your needs and wants. Taking the time to understand the motives that drive your sense of success and happiness are key.

Career planning can have multiple benefits, from goal-setting to career change to a more successful life. Once you begin regularly reviewing and planning your career, you will find yourself better able to under-stand what your strengths are, and ultimately lead yourself into a fulfilling, successful career and life.
