All busy professionals (as well as parents and partners) need effective strategies for making tricky conversations (think giving difficult feedback, telling someone no, getting buy-in or admitting a mistake) feel less stressful and awkward. In this practical interactive session, you'll take away new tips and tools to tackle any tricky conversation without ruining the relationship.

In this engaging session, you will learn:
•   What makes a conversation tricky and stressful
•   Ways in which we (unknowingly) contribute to conflict
•   How to handle challenging people and navigate conversations directly and respectfully
•   Specific language you can use and adapt for approaching others in times of stress

Our speaker is Deborah Grayson Riegel, CEO and chief communication coach for Talk Support, a consulting and coaching firm that helps people say what needs to be said when the stakes are high and time is tight. Deborah is a dynamic, warm and engaging facilitator and speaker who combines her expertise in adult learning, facilitation, coaching and social psychology with her background in improvisational comedy.
