HB8: Gender Parity Talk with Rebecca Vermeulen - Burlingame

Rebecca Vermeulen, RPh, brings a variety of experiences and capabilities to her role as global customer strategy for global medical affairs at Roche. She has spent 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry leading teams across medical affairs. She has served in a variety of functions including sales, clinical research, medical communications, medical science liaisons, medical education, digital communications and Six Sigma.

Rebecca has led teams spanning multiple organizational units and has been responsible for creating global standards for information exchange with healthcare professionals. Having served as a senior leader in medical affairs for a number of years, she knows how to ensure effectiveness and demonstrate value in bringing new medicines to patients. Rebecca is currently on the global board of directors for the Drug Information Association.

Rebecca has been an active member of the HBA since 2008 and is currently vice-chair on the corporate board of directors. In addition, she has served as chapter president for HBA Indiana and HBA San Francisco. During her tenure as the chapter president for HBA San Francisco, the chapter received recognition as the mid-size chapter of the year. She is currently serving as chapter mentor for HBA Europe.

Join Rebecca for a discussion on gender parity and how the HBA is working to address issues surrounding gender parity. In this small group dinner, you can share your experiences and learn from others on gender parity.

We take care of the reservation and logistics and you bring your curiosity and enthusiasm. Registration fee covers administrative and chapter costs. Participants are responsible for their food and beverage costs. Out of respect for your fellow diners, please do your best to arrive on time.
