Webinar - Career Conversations 17: Transitioning Skills: Moving with Grace and Purpose

Please note this webinar will take place from 12:00 – 1:15 PM ET. Please convert into your local time zone and mark your calendar accordingly.

Life is about change, and the ability to transition and transform. How can we make necessary shifts gracefully and effectively? And what can we learn from behavioral science that will help us succeed in both initiating and adapting to change?

Is your position changing or are you seeking a new role? Is a corporate merger, acquisition, downsizing or reorganization on the horizon? Are you contemplating a move to another sector of the healthcare industry? Or perhaps you’re shifting perspective from a treatment-centric view of the industry to a more patient- centric focus. All these involve transitions. On a personal level: maybe there is a family situation that requires adaptation or perhaps you’re trying to swap unhealthy habits for healthier ones. No matter which transition is top of mind for you right now, all of these situations call for the ability to recognize the need for change and the steps necessary to successfully make needed shifts in a way that enhances your personal and professional presence while moving forward.

HBA is pleased to welcome Jill Ann Donahue and Dallas Moores to this conversation around change, transition and transformation. Co-presenters on behavior change at this year’s HBA Annual Conference, Jill is managing partner, EngageRx/Excellerate and Dallas is senior national trainer, Bayer. Joining Jill and Dallas is Julie Kelly, consultant, TalentMatRx and moderator of HBA’s Podcast series, which has explored a wealth of career transitions -- from academia to industry, from corporate employee to contractor, from industrial engineer to pharmaceutical executive, and from professional athlete to chief medical officer and from bench scientist to business leader -- as examples.

Following the conversation, there will be time for an audience Q&A with the speakers.
