About your host: I am Dr. Sarah Matt, MD, MBA. I made the jump from surgery to tech strategy because I realized we cannot operate our way out of a broken system. When I am not teaching at SUNY Upstate or chasing my boys, I am helping healthcare leaders navigate the wild west of digital health.

We will explore how paramedics are saving lives with tablets in rural areas and how surgeons can now share skills across oceans. But we are not just here for the shiny objects; we are going to have an authentic conversation about the "Intelligence Gap" to make sure we are using AI to augment human care rather than just scaling our existing biases.
