HBA SEATTLE PRESENTS

HBA Seattle - Ellevate Joint Happy Hour

This year is not only the 100th anniversary of the woman’s right to vote, but also the cocktail party. In celebration of these two events, this holiday season we’re bringing the cocktail party to you! Join us online for a mix and mingle co-hosted with Ellevate, a global professional women's network dedicated to the economic engagement of women worldwide, and a virtual cocktail tasting featuring Pomp & Whimsy.

During this festive event, we’ll make two distinct cocktails. Nicola Nice, CEO/Founder of Pomp & Whimsey and our mixologist, will begin with a welcome cocktail to get us in the spirit while we learn about the history of the cocktail party. We’ll take away interesting and fun facts about the origin of the word cocktail, who invented the first cocktail, and how the cocktail party came to be.

While we sip our drinks, we’ll split into breakout rooms where we’ll spread some holiday cheer and forge new connections with members of Ellevate. We’ll come back to the group for our second cocktail and a quiz with some fun prizes.
