An Evening with the Author: How Personal Growth Strategies Lead to Professional Growth

Event description
 Join us for dinner and hear from Betty Viamontes, CPA, MBA, CHFP the corporate controller at Tampa General Hospital and author of Waiting on Zapote Street: Loss and Love in Castro’s Cuba. She will be discussing how continued personal growth strategies can lead to professional growth, as well as, key strategies for effective time management. You will hear concrete ways to improve your efficiency at work. Betty will share how her own experiences lead to professional growth. She will help you understand how your passions and what drives you can do the same for you.

Learning objectives
1. Identify common sense strategies that have the potential for more than doubling efficiency in the workplace and beyond
2. Recognize how personal growth can positively impact work performance and lead to professional growth
3. Recognize how emotional intelligence plays a key role on every aspect of the work place
