Event details
Please join the HBA’s Women in Science (WIS) Metro Chapter for an evening of engaging conversations on how technology can be used to facilitate a more personalized and patient-centric approach to drug development and healthcare delivery. Sponsored by Medidata Solutions, the leading global provider of cloud-based solutions for clinical research in life sciences, the program will bring together representatives from various sectors of the industry to share their views on how technology could transform clinical research and healthcare models to better meet patient needs.
A diverse panel of industry experts and thought leaders will discuss the intersection of patient and provider needs and the new technology and analytic tools. The panel will also offer insight on the future state of clinical research and healthcare models, where, for example, smartphones, mobile devices and other innovative technologies are part of a solution in a highly regulated environment that guides patients to wellness by changing their behaviors.
Learning objectives
1. Discuss patient and provider needs in the context of the emerging tech and data analytics universe
2. Understand how disruptive technology is being used to reshape healthcare delivery as we know it, as well as the way data is collected and shared across the healthcare ecosystem
3. Foster dialogue on the collaboration required to break out of current models and bring patients and their needs to the forefront of drug development and healthcare delivery
