The Art of Harmony: Leadership Concept in Music and Management

“The conductor doesn’t make a sound.” Like a leader in management, he works through his team members, the musicians. Stephanie Oestreich, manager in the pharma industry as well as professional musician, bases her workshop on this quote from conductor Bejamin Zander. Together with musicians from the “Salonorchesters der Deutschen Oper Berlin“, she will make leadership concepts audible. The roles of teams and leadership will be explained. Focusing on similarities with management, Stephanie will demonstrate structures of leadership work often not as easily perceived in daily work as in music, where disharmony is immediately heard. In interaction with the audience she will show that the areas of music and management are more closely linked than you might believe.
