Event description
Join us for an evening of skill building and networking at the Bristol-Myers Squibb North America Capability Center in Tampa. You will engage in a capability building workshop focused on gaining recognition and building influence in a virtual environment. The workshop will be led by Amanda Bergen, a virtual communications expert. Emmy nominated, local news anchor, Stacie Schaible, will join us to share her experience as a professional communicator. Learning objectives
1. Learn the different skillsets needed to communicate virtually vs. in-person
2. Develop a list of key talking points to achieve buy-in and engagement from virtual teams
3. Practice voice modulation, effective speech and phrasing and how to prepare for virtual meetings
