2018 Woman of the Year event

HBA celebrates Julie Gerberding, MD, MPH, executive vice president for strategic communications, global public policy and population health chief patient officer, Merck & Co., Inc. as our 2018 Woman of the Year.


Nearly 2,500 leaders across the industry will celebrate this year's honorees during the 29th annual WOTY event that includes an inspiring luncheon program and innovative networking opportunities. Also lauded will be Nick Colucci, chairman and CEO, Publicis Health as the HBA Honorable Mentor, and Terri Pascarelli, CEO, AIT Bioscience as the STAR (Strategic Transformation Achievement Recognition), and a group of nearly 100 Rising Stars and Luminaries.

Registration information
Individual seats:
*To register for this event, you will need to login to the HBA website. You will be prompted to do so as your next step. Please follow the instructions to create an account if you are a new user.

*To purchase single seats in addition to your table please register for an additional seat.

*Individual seats purchased will be seated with other individual ticket holders and cannot be added to company tables.

*The maximum number of seats allowed per table is ten. We cannot add additional seats to any table due to hotel fire code.

Cancellation/Refunds
Confirmed registrants may cancel and receive a full refund (minus $75 administrative) until 6 April 2018. A completed cancellation form must be received in writing via email to hba@hbanet.org no later than 6 April 2018. Registrants who do not cancel by 6 April 2018 date and do not attend will be responsible for the full registration fee.


Substitution
Confirmed registrations may substitution their registration by 18 April 2018. A completed substitution form must be received in writing via email to hba@hbanet.org no later than 18 April 2018. After 18 April 2018, all registration substitutions must be made on-site at the HBA Woman of the Year Registration Desk.


Please note, once you have purchased your table please assign each seat to your guests. Please be sure to assign your seats by the deadline of Monday, 23 April 2018.


Party of one-If you are purchasing a single ticket please indicate your seating preference in one the following specialized areas: advertising/marketing, clinical development, consulting, entrepreneurs, finance, IT, sales, scientists or if you have no preference. If you would like to sit with a specific person/company, please let us know. We will accommodate all requests as best we can, but are not guaranteed.

Event Policies

Photography Policy
By registering for this event, you acknowledge that you may be photographed, videotaped, and/or audio-taped during the meeting and hereby give permission for your image, voice, or survey comments to be used in education, training, promotion, and/or trade and communications media by the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association in any and all media throughout the world, without restriction as to frequency or duration of usage.

COVID-19 Policy
The HBA requires that all persons who participate in in-person events do so at their own risk and that each participant agrees to the following agreement before taking part in the activity and urges all participants to act in such a manner as to protect their own safety and the safety of others.

By registering for this event, I fully understand that my participation in the program is purely voluntary. I desire to participate and agree to act reasonably and prudently under the circumstances. I further understand that any HBA volunteers participating in the activity will act individually and will not represent the HBA. As a condition to my participation the activity, I waive and release the HBA and their officers, employees, and agents from any claim that I may have for any damage to property or injury to my person that may result in whole or in part from my participation.
