Event description
Drug development requires a strong focus on the patient – their needs and their experience. To achieve a personalized approach, there is a push within the industry to understand what drives patients, their diseases and how to best serve their needs.
Through the experience of our panelists – industry, advocacy and patient – they will discuss the shift towards patient-centric initiatives focused on increasing patient engagement, patient advocacy, expanding access, creating patient diversity and incorporating patient perspective. They will also touch on FDA engagement, reaching historically challenging populations, designing trials with patient needs and experiences in mind along with how to measure benefits and outcomes.
Achieving a patient-centric drug development organization requires a great deal of change and collaboration across various stakeholders. This event will touch on what change each stakeholder can make to improve the patient experience and obtain their desired outcome.
