HBA SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA PRESENTS

2015 Woman of the Year Event - West

Event descriptionJoin the San Francisco Bay area chapter as HBA celebrates Denice Torres, president of McNeil Consumer Healthcare, a Johnson & Johnson company as our 2015 Woman of the Year; Stuart Sowder, PharmD, JD, MBA vice president of external medical communications at Pfizer, our 2015 Honorable Mentor and Carol Wells, senior director of commercial training and development at Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, our 2015 STAR (Strategic Transformation Achievement Recognition).
At Genentech, we will participate in WOTY via a live satellite over breakfast. In addition to the live feed, we will hear from Jonathan Witt, Vice President of Market Analysis and Strategy at Genentech and a panel of extraordinary women including Jennifer Parkhurst (Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers), Ayelet Baron (Futurist. Chief Instigator at Creatingis) and Michele McConomy (Vice President at RocketSpace).  The panel will discuss their leadership journey and what the theme of the event “Impact and Influence – Imagine the Possibilities” means to them.

We will also take this opportunity to give back through an accessory drive and silent auction and raffle to benefit Dress for Success. Dress for Success is a global not-for-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
The program will provide the opportunity for networking throughout the event and will also recognize a group of nearly 100 Rising Stars and Luminaries.

Please bring your gently used jewelry, bags, shoes and other accessory items to the event.  We look forward to celebrating with you on the West Coast at WOTY West.
