Event details
HBA SoCal is excited to present an interactive and timely session led by venture capitalist, Eve Kurtin, on the challenge especially women have with fitting their work into their life and perhaps more importantly, their life into their work. This is a follow-up to our lively discussion last summer on Sheryl Sandberg's Lean-In principles on how we can (or can we?) have it all - career, family, life.
We will frame our discussion around tough decisions and choices we make every day. Click here to watch the TED talk for a very public example.
Eve brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to this topic and teaches a similar course at UCLA. She will facilitate our discussion and asks that everyone bring a challenge or story to share. Please join us for an enlightening and enriching evening.
