Leading Innovation: Leadership Skills That Work for Everyone

Event description
The best leaders share these critical skills: they build relationships, assert themselves appropriately and exert influence. In this event, talent strategy specialists Carol Mitchell and Pat Schaeffer will present research that shows how women leaders in different areas exhibit these skills. In the process, they will share stories of some of the women they have spoken with in their work. Finally, they will take you through interactive exercises to help you develop the key leadership skills and will guide you in applying the skills to your own career. This event is brought to you by Women in Science (WIS) in collaboration with Shire. Heavy appetizers and drinks will be provided.
