HBA COLUMBUS PRESENTS

Narrowing the Gender Gap and Re-entry Into the Workplace

Women left the bioscience and healthcare workforce at an alarming rate in 2020 and 2021. Join us to explore the ramifications of this, discuss tactics to weave them back into the workforce, and have a conversation focused on gender diversity initiatives as a whole.

BioOhio proudly supports diversity and inclusion within the bioscience and healthcare industries. Since 2015 we have hosted events in support of this initiative featuring thought-provoking discussions led by dynamic speakers spanning a variety of topics such as personal & professional journeys, tactics to create and sustain a DE&I culture, unconscious bias, negotiating strategies, mentorship, STEM initiatives, and more.

Speakers for our November 2021 session:
Jennifer Fenoglio, Director, Patient-Focused Giving, Genentech. Jennifer is a member of Genentech Women Professionals, one of the company’s 13 Diversity Network Association employee resource groups. Jennifer has spent more than 20 years working in and around healthcare organizations in both commercial and advocacy roles.

Natasha Tharp, Director of Consulting & Assessment, TSP. Natasha works with stakeholders to listen, customize and design the right selection, organizational, and leadership development tools using her 20 years of experience across multiple and diverse industries including financial services, telecommunications, and most recently healthcare.

Moderated by Karen Hough, Founder & CEO, ImprovEdge. Karen is a #1 Amazon bestselling author, contributor to the Huffington Post, and recipient of the Athena PowerLink Award for outstanding woman-owned business and the Outstanding Women Award from the WNBA’s Indiana Fever.
