Social and Sip-Meet and Greet Our New Entrepreneur Affinity Group

Interested in getting to know more about the HBA and meeting some of our members? Join HBA members, leaders, and others committed to gender parity in an informal setting to learn more about HBA happenings locally and globally. These gatherings have a reputation for forming long-lasting friendships with women in all areas of healthcare, and give you a sense of what membership in the HBA is all about.

Join us to learn more about a New Offering, the Entrepreneurial Affinity Group with guest speakers, Carolina Amador and Helen McBride. The Entrepreneurial Affinity Group's mission is to nurture women with an entrepreneurial spirit (founders, business owners & intrapreneurs) through a supportive community to ensure women are equipped for success and to inspire the next generation of female entrepreneurs. The HBA’s Entrepreneurship Affinity group is led by Carolina Amador and Helen McBride. Carolina Amador, PhD is currently a Commercial Insights Manager covering Amgen’s General Medicine portfolio. Helen McBride, PhD is currently an Entrepreneur in Residence at Caltech, coaching founders of life science start-ups on ideation, optimizing their value proposition, and navigating fundraising for successful start-up creation and growth.
