HBA MIAMI PRESENTS

End the Silence - Starting to Understand Mental Illness

Join HBA Miami for a town hall discussion on ending the silence on understanding mental illness. Our expert panelist will be Sandra Cumper, Staci Lee Schnell, Lexa Bender and Liza Fernandez. Sandra Cumper MS serves as the Executive Director of NAMI Broward County, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for millions of Americans affected by mental illness. Staci Lee Schnell is a Licensed Marriage/Family Therapist and a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She is currently the President of the Broward Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Staci is also the current Coordinator of the South Broward/North Dade Chapter of CHADD. Lexa Bender is a Registered Mental Health Counselor and Registered Marriage & Family Therapist. Liza Fernandez MSW, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she has worked in healthcare, community mental health settings and private practice for over 20 years.
