Dr. Martine Allard is no stranger to adversity. She first met resistance when switching an arts degree for one in the sciences. She fast-tracked her way into a PhD in Chemistry and an MBA from the University of Montreal. Dr. Allard’s career spans over two decades in the Pharmaceutical Industry with senior leadership roles, namely at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Merck Canada. By assembling a string of positions in different sectors & key functions, she has built a unique set of skills & strengths that has helped her to succeed. Her journey is about seizing opportunities and creating them where they don’t exist. Dr. Allard has crafted a successful career by taking a non-traditional path, and is enthusiastic about sharing her story with other women at any stage of their careers.
