Event description
The HBA’s core purpose is to empower more women as business and thought leaders in healthcare. To further the advancement and impact of women in this industry, we are hosting a special event focused on best practice sharing and helping individuals understand how to thrive in your career while working your way up the corporate ladder.

Our esteemed panel including HBA Rising Star recipients, have successfully made this transition and will be sharing their experiences that can help you build your roadmap to career advancement.

This is a special event for up and coming executives that are transitioning to management and leadership role.

Our panel will share best practices/suggestions/tips after which we will offer breakout sessions facilitating more in-depth discussions. Some topics that will be addressed include:
- How to become a successful manager, and still be yourself
- Make your presence known (distinguish yourself)
- How to become a successful team leader and player
- Maintaining confidence and facing fears
- Strengthening and exhibit leadership skills
- How to play in the corporate sandbox with management, peers and sub-ordinates.
- Networking with key people and increase your visibility

1. Develop skills needed for a future management role
2. Identify critical components needed to continue climbing the ladder
3. Begin transitioning from contributor to leader
