HBA ZURICH-ZUG PRESENTS

Powered by Attitude: How to leverage diversity and adversity in setting and achieving your goals

HBA Zurich and Alexion Pharmaceuticals are excited to host Debra Searle, a successful business and sports woman who has tackled some of the toughest environments on the planet, including rowing solo across the Atlantic. In addition to her methods for achieving goals in the face of adversity, Debra founded MIX Diversity Developers and leads diversity and inclusion consulting for major businesses worldwide.

Debra is a powerful storyteller, incorporating practical tips on positive psychology and choosing the right attitude for optimal business performance. Debra shares actionable insights that she used to stay motivated at sea and relies on in all business environments. She will explain lessons to succeed in life and work, particularly in challenging or unexpected conditions, and how to successfully stand up to stereotypes and unconscious biases that hold us back from maximizing our collective potential. A Q&A will follow with tips on practically applying these learnings.
