HBA GLOBAL PRESENTS

Webinar Series: Innovating and Investing – Maximize Success for Entrepreneurs

Two webinars for entrepreneurs:

Boosting Your Next Innovation Project - 15 October
Calling all innovators, aspiring entrepreneurs and those who like to challenge the status quo! Do you think behavioral economics plays a role in your decision-making or impacts the success of your innovation efforts? Learn how behavioral science can power up your next innovation project.

Dan Seewald, founder of Deliberate Innovation and former head of Pfizer’s innovation program, is joining the HBA to share some of the research behind behavioral economics and why this impacts everyday business. From academia to industry, Dan has a rich history of working with companies that are heavily regulated and is a firm believer that this doesn’t need to stifle innovation. Those of us working in the healthcare sector can relate.

You’ll hear Dan share the theory, his real-life experience and pocket principles to maximize your success when innovating. This will be a two-way conversation, so get involved in the discussion and ask your questions.

How to Have a Successful Pitch to Investors - 24 October
When it comes to pitching for investors, first impressions matter! This webinar will help you to understand how venture capitalists analyze deals and will ensure that your pitch makes a lasting impression. This webinar will provide you with insight into the mindset of a venture capitalist as Jennifer McMahon, principal at Seroba Life Sciences, walks through the venture capital industry and the due diligence process. Carl Emerson of InsideOut, a trainer and ICF accredited coach, will then help you to prepare your pitch to ensure that you maximize your impact with investors.

You will understand the venture capital industry and the due diligence process and master the perfect pitch.
