HBA SAN DIEGO PRESENTS

DEIB Chat with Jennifer Hairston

IMPORTANT: The Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA) requires that all persons who participate in in-person events do so at their own risk and that each participant agrees to the following agreement prior to taking part in the activity and urges all participants to act in such a manner as to protect their own safety and the safety of others.

By registering for this event, I fully understand that my participation in the program is purely voluntary. I desire to participate and agree to act in a reasonable and prudent manner under the circumstances. I further understand that any HBA volunteers participating in the activity will be acting in an individual capacity only and will not represent the HBA. As a condition to my participation in the activity, I waive and release the HBA and their officers, employees, and agents from any claim that I may have for any damage to property or injury to my person that may result in whole or in part from my participation.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging (DEIB) is more than a corporate buzzword. Join HBA San Diego for a fireside chat featuring Jennifer Hairston, Program Manager of DEIB at Curology. Jennifer will share her impactful personal journey into Project Management and DEIB roles; the lessons she has learned along the way with the hope of inspiring and elevating the experience of other minorities in business. In this session, she will share her learnings from managing and implementing DEIB initiatives at Illumina and Curology. She has also gained a breadth of experience and insight as an active member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) and as a mentor for the San Diego Squared organization (SD2). This in-person event will encourage active and personal engagement with the speaker and fellow participants during a Q&A session. The event will include an opportunity to continue the discussion and network.
