HBA PHILADELPHIA SUBURBS PRESENTS

The Bravery Effect: Leverage the Science of Bravery to Elevate your Impact

The HBA Philly-Suburbs Chapter is pleased to host author and keynote speaker, Jill Schulman, on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the historic Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville, PA. Jill will present insights from her latest book, The Bravery Effect. Bravery is not an innate quality; it is a skill cultivated over time. Research demonstrates that enhancing bravery can significantly improve leadership, confidence, and performance outcomes.

In this engaging and evidence-based session, Bravery Expert and former USMC Officer, Jill Schulman, will examine the scientific foundations of how individuals confront fear, make decisive choices, and take purposeful action—even under challenging circumstances. Drawing from cognitive, behavioral, and social psychology, as well as neuroscience, she will present a practical framework for developing bravery in three core areas: Mindset, Actions & Relationships.

Participants will gain actionable tools to enhance leadership effectiveness, communicate with assurance, and embrace greater challenges, positioning bravery as a key differentiator.

A limited number of books will be available for purchase at the event, and Jill will be signing copies following her session. Early acquisition of the book is encouraged. Early attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive tour of the Colonial Theater!
