Dare to Care: The Power of Self Appreciation

Join us for this lively discussion related to self-appreciation during a global pandemic. This crisis we face today has created an environment that holds more questions than answers. For most of us, daily life does not look the same, and sometimes it is more difficult to see what is right about ourselves than what is wrong. Self-appreciation is a way to embrace yourself, appreciate what you are doing right and accept the imperfection to move towards a better life. This tool can help us engage in self-awareness and evolve a mindset of practical positivity. Taking the time to be kind to yourself, show gratitude, and being mindful are just a few steps towards practicing self-appreciation.

Collectively, as the local, state-wide, national, worldwide HBA community, we are a united force and can learn from each other and thrive together. Dare to Care is a channel that provides us an opportunity to come together to share daily life’s insights, identify lessons learned, brainstorm solutions to the common, persistent challenges and discover how we can manage through this together. These sessions will reinforce the HBA’s core goals to strengthen women’s networks, make new connections and generate new ideas related to personal and professional life.

HBA NNJ believes leadership is not time-bound but a full-time commitment that takes initiative. The HBA looks to lead its members into conversations with each other; to speak to regular, daily challenges faced by each other, and to encourage the authentic, transparent, and transformative thought and connections.
