Leveraging Positive Intelligence: Understanding the Saboteur

This interactive workshop will introduce you to Positive Intelligence, the foundation of principles that will help you achieve your true success and personal fulfillment. Positive Intelligence is the self-discipline to change from being a Reactor (Saboteur behavior), move to Neutral, and then choose to Respond with Wisdom (Sage response). This is a calmer, more deliberate approach and will rewire your brain and create better interactions at work, career movement and yes, personal relationships at home.

Saboteurs are the voices in your head that generate negative emotions as you handle everyday challenges. They are automatic patterns in your mind for how you think, feel, and respond. Your Saboteurs cause all your stress, anxiety, self-doubt, frustration, restlessness, and unhappiness. During this one-hour session, we will be working in groups to review how we might experience these negative emotions when we look at a Career Change either as applying for a new job or asking for a promotion.

Learning Objectives

  1. identify various saboteurs and gain a deeper understanding of their limiting beliefs.
  2. utilize your inner saboteur to navigate negative emotions while handling everyday challenges.
