HBA OLD GREATER PHILADELPHIA PRESENTS

Insights from HBA’s 2015 Woman of the Year Denice Torres

Event description
Join us for this interactive evening as part of the Greater Philadelphia chapter dine around series. This program will feature video segments from the Women of the Year (WOTY) event held in NYC this past May. We will focus on this year’s WOTY winner, Denice Torres, JD, MBA, president of McNeil Consumer Healthcare, a J&J company, who shares wisdom gained from her life and career journey with humor in an awe-inspiring acceptance speech. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the leadership attributes Denice highlights in her presentation and what she means when she says that “the competitive advantage is me.”

Learning objectives
1. Describe the leadership attributes highlighted in Denice Torres’ acceptance speech that you believe are key for leaders to demonstrate in today’s healthcare business environment
2. Identify at least two key leadership lessons shared in the WOTY presentation that you would like to share with others
