This event is for members who are directors and above or principals of their own business.

Event description
The concept of networking has gotten a bad rap. Some think of business networking as the person selling themselves and taking advantage of others. Networking skills are really about extending your circle of influence and building solid professional connections and relationships. This program focuses on the skills of creating, strengthening, and maintaining effective relationships through networking Emphasis is placed on the value and techniques of how to reach out and strengthen business partnerships. Learn how to be more at ease at networking and build the kind of relationships that will develop your career, your company and take the angst out of business events and networking opportunities. This dynamic presentation includes group interaction, exercises, and helpful hints.

Learning objectives
1. Recognize the type of network you need for your business and career
2. Identify techniques that draw information from the other party and learn how to best pay it forward
3. Develop an effective strategy and plan for increased networking and growth
