2016 Woman of the Year event (WOTY)

HBA celebrates Jennifer Cook, head of pharma, region Europe for Roche as our 2016 Woman of the Year, Jacopo Leonardi, executive vice president and president, Immunology at Baxalta Incorporated as our 2016 Honorable Mentor and Deborah Seltzer, director, enhanced search, North America, Spencer Stuart as our 2016 STAR.

Nearly 2,500 leaders across the industry will celebrate this year's honorees during the 27th annual WOTY event that includes an inspiring luncheon program and innovative networking opportunities. Also lauded will be the HBA Honorable Mentor, STAR (Strategic Transformation Achievement Recognition), and a group of nearly 100 Rising Stars and Luminaries.

Preferred elite section: Guests reserving tables/seats in this section will be placed at tables in front of the pillars in the Grand Ballroom at the New York Hilton Midtown. A floorplan can be viewed here.

Preferred elite tables/seats are no longer available due to high demand. Please proceed with purchasing the elite table/seat and sign up for our preferred elite wait list if you are interested in being upgraded should space become available. We will accommodate wait list requests in the order in which they are received. To be placed on the wait list you must purchase your elite table/seat first, then contact us via email at hba@hbanet.org. If a table/seat becomes available we will contact you and require a response within two business days. You will be responsible for paying the price difference. Should we be unable to reach you we will move on to the next interested customer.

Elite section: Guests reserving tables/seats in this section will be placed at tables towards the back of the Grand Ballroom at the New York Hilton Midtown. A floorplan can be viewed here.

Please note: to be eligible for Early bird registration fees you must register before they expire on April 5, 2016 at 11:59pm ET. Regular registration fees begin on April 6, 2016 at 12:00am ET

Registration FAQ's

- To register for this event you will need to log in to the HBA website. You will be prompted to do so as your next step.  Please follow the instructions to create an account if you are a new user.
- To purchase single seats in addition to your table please register for an additional seat.
- Individual seats purchased will be seated with other individual ticket holders and cannot be added to company tables.
- The maximum number of seats allowed per table is ten. We cannot add additional seats to any table due to hotel fire code.

Cancellation/Refunds
Is this event refundable?  Yes.
All requests must be submitted via email to the HBA at hba@hbanet.org by April 12, 2016; no refunds are available after this date.

Event Policies

Photography Policy
By registering for this event, you acknowledge that you may be photographed, videotaped, and/or audio-taped during the meeting and hereby give permission for your image, voice, or survey comments to be used in education, training, promotion, and/or trade and communications media by the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association in any and all media throughout the world, without restriction as to frequency or duration of usage.

COVID-19 Policy
The HBA requires that all persons who participate in in-person events do so at their own risk and that each participant agrees to the following agreement before taking part in the activity and urges all participants to act in such a manner as to protect their own safety and the safety of others.

By registering for this event, I fully understand that my participation in the program is purely voluntary. I desire to participate and agree to act reasonably and prudently under the circumstances. I further understand that any HBA volunteers participating in the activity will act individually and will not represent the HBA. As a condition to my participation the activity, I waive and release the HBA and their officers, employees, and agents from any claim that I may have for any damage to property or injury to my person that may result in whole or in part from my participation.
