Event description
We are honored and delighted to announce that HBA CEO Laurie Cooke will be providing opening remarks at the HBA Boston Signature event, Thursday, June 16, 2016, at 5:30 PM. Laurie, who is a champion of women’s leadership and has been asked to join a roundtable by the White House to discuss key issues facing women in the US, will speak about the HBA’s commitment to gender parity and commitment to further the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare.
HBA Boston is one of the fastest growing and largest chapters, and poised to make a significant impact in our industry and in this region. We are pleased to host Laurie here; please see this recent article to learn more about her history and success.
The main program of the HBA Boston Signature event is the inspirational and talented Carolyn Buck Luce who will discuss how to create the life that you seek, now and for decades to come.
By illustrating her own career and life plan, Carolyn will discuss how to create a decade-by-decade framework for personal and professional growth and advancement. You will be given a series of questions with which to frame your decade planning. Some of the points of discussion may be:
• What are my personal and professional goals over the next decade? And beyond?
• How do I prioritize my goals?
• How do I plan my career path with intention and focus?
• Given life’s unexpected or planned events, such as an ailing parent or the birth of a child, how do I get my career back on track?
• How do I ensure my professional and personal life is rich, fulfilling, and meaningful?
Please join Laurie Cooke, Carolyn Buck Luce and HBA Boston for a very special evening. We look forward to seeing you there.
Please note: The event will be preceded by an executive networking hour with Carolyn Buck Luce. This networking hour will be strictly reserved to executive women (senior director level and above) and will take place from 4:30 to 6:00 PM prior the general evening event.
