HBA MIAMI PRESENTS

Lessons I have learned along the way: The good, the bad and the ugly

If you were able to spend an hour in conversation with one of the senior women in your organization, what might you want to know? How could their experience help you to better navigate your career whether it is progressing more quickly or avoiding potential traps that lie ahead?
That is the idea of this webinar. In a successful pharma career that spanned over 30 years, 3 continents, 4 companies, and some groundbreaking roles, I have enjoyed both triumphs and failures and learned from them all. My goal in an informal conversational setting, is to share with you some of the stories and key learnings that most influenced my career with the goal of helping you to discover new opportunities to advance your development and career.
Specific topics we will cover will include:
1. No one will ever care more about your career than you
2. A good sponsor can make a huge difference (but don’t put all your eggs in one basket)
3. It is never too early to network and never too late to start
4. How long is too long? When to let a bad performer go?
5. Yes Virginia, there actually are people with bad intent in the workplace. How does that change what you do?
