HBA HOUSTON PRESENTS

Burnout Happens - Strategies to See it Coming and Rebounding Sooner

Join HBA Houston as we connect with Leighann Forbes, Ph.D. Senior Director, U.S. Real World Value & Evidence Field Team, Janssen Scientific Affairs, LLC, a Johnson & Johnson Company. We will learn from Leighann about the serious impact that burnout can have on one’s physical and emotional state. “Burnout” is not just limited to a person’s work environment. In today’s high-paced world, many aspects contribute to the overwhelming exhaustion that can occur when life’s demands become too much. While “burnout” isn’t a true medical diagnosis, the impact on one’s physical and emotional state is very real and can be quite serious. During our time together, we will be addressing the signs/symptoms of burnout and the impact it can have on your physical, emotional and mental health if left “unchecked”. We will also discuss strategies which may assist with getting your life re-balanced so that you can best manage your energy, time, effectiveness and impact. Whether you work in, or outside of the home, this topic is relevant for everyone in today’s fast-moving, technology-centric, “you-should-have-it-all” society.

Registration is required and limited. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network and make new connections. Beverages and heavy hor d’oeuvres will be provided. Parking will be validated.

Special instructions (e.g., parking information): Parking will be validated
