HBA SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA PRESENTS

HB8 Dine-Around Week: Overcoming Self-Doubt and Feeling Like an Imposter

This event has reached capacity and is now offering a wait list registration. This wait list does not confirm your attendance. In the event that a registrant cancels their attendance for this event, you will be notified by the chapter representative for the HB8 dinner program via email. The wait list is managed on a first-come, first-served basis. Any participant who is moved from the wait list to a confirmed attendee will still be responsible for their event costs, which will be administered by the chapter at the time of the event.

Do you sometimes feel like that you don’t belong and feel like an impostor? This isn’t unusual according to Amy Cuddy, professor, Harvard.

Please join Elizabeth Rutherfurd and Charlotte Arnold, directors of marketing, HBA San Francisco, for an interactive discussion on over-coming self-doubt and “impostorism”. Charlotte Arnold is a healthcare communications professional with 20 years’ experience in the pharma/biotech industry. Prior to Relypsa's acquisition last fall, Charlotte was vice president of corporate communications and investor relations and served as a member of the executive team. Elizabeth Rutherfurd is a client portfolio lead at Future State. She has 17 years of experience working with businesses to creatively solve problems and build organizational capability. Elizabeth serves on the board of the San Francisco Waldorf School.

In this intimate setting, you and up to seven other great women will have an opportunity to get to know each other in an informal, social environment and learn more about the HBA and share your experiences. We take care of the reservation and logistics and you bring your curiosity and enthusiasm. Out of respect for your fellow diners, please do your best to arrive on time. Also, do remember to bring business cards to take full advantage of the networking opportunities.

Note: This event costs $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers to cover administrative and chapter fees (charged at registration). This fee is non-refundable. Cancellations are appreciated at least 24 hours in advance. This would allow time to notify the next person on the waitlist. You are responsible for the cost of food and beverages. If possible, please bring cash (including small bills) to make splitting the check easier.
