HBA SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PRESENTS

Leading at the Speed of Trust

Event details
HBA SoCal and Agensys/FranklinCovey are proud to present an introductory session of FranklinCovey's The Speed of Trust, a leadership-development approach designed to engage leaders at all levels in the real work of identifying and closing the trust gaps that exist in their organization.

Every interaction, every work project, every initiative, every communication, every strategic imperative or organizational change is affected positively or negatively by trust. High trust is leverage that can improve performance in an organization because it accelerates the speed at which the work gets done while decreasing costs.

The interactive introduction is designed to help leaders:
• Learn how to improve personal credibility and trustworthiness in relationships.
• Understand the real, measurable "trust taxes" leaders might be paying without realizing it.
• Begin seeing trust as economic and financial, and that Trust is an important cultural lever.

The session will be led by Dwight Hansen, the FranklinCovey practice leader who oversees the Speed of Trust operations in the Western US, Western Canada, and Australia. He has extensive experience working with executive teams, and is considered FranklinCovey’s foremost specialist on implementing Speed of Trust as a culture change effort. Dwight has worked with thousands of people in a wide range of settings and has an engaging, ‘roll-up-your-sleeves,’ consultative style. He is regarded as a thoughtful, practical, and straightforward practitioner, helping leaders leverage behavior to impact organizational results.

Learning objectives
1. Begin to understand the "case for trust" so leaders can make building trust an explicit goal of their work
2. Introduce the 4 cores of credibility and the 13 behaviors of high trust leaders
3. Help leaders recognize that high trust is a performance multiplier
4. Network, expand and deepen your relationships with other professional women
