HBA SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA PRESENTS

HB8 Dine-Around Week: Mindfulness in the Workplace with Allison Marshall

This event has reached capacity and is now offering a wait list registration. This wait list does not confirm your attendance. In the event that a registrant cancels their attendance for this event, you will be notified by the chapter representative for the HB8 dinner program via email. The wait list is managed on a first-come, first-served basis. Any participant who is moved from the wait list to a confirmed attendee will still be responsible for their event costs, which will be administered by the chapter at the time of the event.

Please join Allison Marshall, director, programming, HBA San Francisco, to discuss tips, tools and methods to be more present and consciously aware in your job. In our constantly wired and on-demand culture, we've become overwhelmed, overworked and overstimulated. The result? More anxiety, less rest, lower immunity and chronic body tension. At this dinner, we'll share our stories, build solidarity and support each other through mindfulness.

Allison is marketing communications manager and solutions lead at Claritas Rx. Prior to joining Claritas, Allison worked at Genentech for eight years in various positions within the commercial organization, from oncology field sales to portfolio managed care. She has a unique background in IT consulting and experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.

In this intimate setting, you and up to seven other great women will have an opportunity to get to know each other in an informal, social environment and learn more about the HBA and share your experiences. We take care of the reservation and logistics and you bring your curiosity and enthusiasm. Out of respect for your fellow diners, please do your best to arrive on time. Also, do remember to bring business cards to take full advantage of the networking opportunities.

Note: This event costs $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers to cover administrative and chapter fees (charged at registration). This fee is non-refundable. Cancellations are appreciated at least 24 hours in advance. This would allow time to notify the next person on the waitlist. You are responsible for the cost of food and beverages. If possible, please bring cash (including small bills) to make splitting the check easier.
