Impostor-Phänomen – Zweifelst Du noch oder feierst Du Dich schon? (in German, virtual)
„Ich mache hier allen nur etwas vor“, „eigentlich kann ich das alles gar nicht“ und „irgendwann fliege ich auf“ – hattest Du diese Gedanken auch schon einmal? Dann bist Du damit nicht allein. Denn viele erfolgreiche Menschen haben Selbstzweifel bis hin zum sogenannten Impostor-Phänomen. Was aber nicht heißt, dass Du das einfach hinnehmen solltest.
Denn das im Deutschen oft als Hochstapler-Syndrom übersetzte Phänomen, kann sich zu einem echten Problem entwickeln. Wenn die Selbstzweifel so überhandnehmen, dass sie Dich daran hindern, Dein volles Potential zu entfalten. Wenn tatsächlich erzielte Erfolge nicht mehr mit dem eigenen Können, sondern mit Glück oder Zufall erklärt werden.
Doch wo kommen die Hochstapler-Gedanken her? Und – vielleicht noch wichtiger: Wie wirst Du sie wieder los? Dr. Mona Leonhardt gibt Dir in ihrem Vortrag eine Einführung in das Thema und zeigt, wie das Impostor-Phänomen das psychische Wohlbefinden beeinflusst, vor allem auch im beruflichen Kontext. Und natürlich geht es auch darum, wie Du Selbstzweifel und deren Folgen entgegentreten kannst.
Auf den Vortrag folgt eine Diskussionsrunde mit Top-Manager*innen: Wie gehen sie mit Selbstzweifeln um? Und was kann man bei betroffenen Mitarbeiter*innen tun?
Zur Speakerin:
Dr. Mona Leonhardt von der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt/Main forscht seit mehreren Jahren zum Impostor-Phänomen und hat mehrfach dazu publiziert. Dabei geht es der Psychologin insbesondere auch darum, wie das Phänomen Einfluss auf Sichtbarkeit und Diversität nimmt. Zudem ist sie Mitherausgeberin des Impostor-Selbstkonzept-Fragebogens, dem deutschsprachigen Verfahren zur Erfassung des Impostor-Phänomens.
