The Importance of a Robust Approach to Data within Genomics
Increasing accessibility to personal health data, combined with rapid analytical capabilities, has enabled tremendous opportunities for genomics. Meaningful insights generated from large volumes of genomic data could help accelerate drug discovery and development, personalise treatment, enhance patient experience and reduce the cost of care.
Genomic data analysis is no longer only restricted to healthcare and drug companies, and there are increasing numbers of companies offering direct to consumer genetic testing and analysis. With such research and commercial opportunities come numerous data challenges for those who wish to securely and effectively navigate this landscape, particularly with regards to privacy, reliability and security.
Join HBA London and KPMG for a knowledge-sharing and networking event centered around the topics of genomics and the importance of a robust approach to data within this area.
