HBA OLD METRO AREA PRESENTS

Inspiring Career Journeys - Thinking Differently

Event description
Your career path does not have to adhere to a specific starting point or predefined steps; you can orchestrate your path through grasping unexpected opportunities and challenges.

The HBA Metro Women in Healthcare IT affinity group presents an amazing panel who will share their career paths: how they made their choices, what results they saw and how they refined and defined their next moves. In addition, they will share their approaches to planning career moves vs. taking advantage of unexpected opportunities or challenges.

This event offers you the opportunity to hear inspiring stories, gain insights on how great careers can be imagined, planned and executed. It also offers you the opportunity to evaluate your model of career path and assist you in determining a framework on how to handle unexpected difficulties, challenges and opportunities; how to take what appears to be a negative and turn it around to prosper.

Our esteemed speakers are Marene Allison, vice president of Worldwide Information Security, who was a former military police officer and special agent with the FBI and Ghylian Bell, founder of Urban Yoga Foundation, and is also an actress, model, yogi and a chair for The American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Woman campaign".

We will have ample Q&A time so you can gain insights, advice and wisdom on how to think through personal and career moves and changes.

We look forward to an evening of networking, wine and lite fare and meaningful conversation.
