HBA OLD METRO AREA PRESENTS

Webinar - Three Steps to a Stellar Profile: How to Stand Out Using LinkedIn

Webinar description
With over 300 million users, LinkedIn has become the #1 online gathering place for professionals. Is your profile making the statement you want?

Your LinkedIn profile may be the first step in connecting with people with similar interests and goals. How do you reach those people? With such enormous competition, making your profile one that really differentiates you is the first step in making a memorable impression on others. It is important to create the strongest, most compelling presentation of yourself possible, since recruiters and future clients look at your profile. In fact, your first meeting may be a "digital handshake.”

Join us for a first-hand look at how to use LinkedIn to communicate your personal brand with charisma and impact. The webinar will cover branding techniques like language, color choices, graphics and multi-media, what personal information to include, why and how, and where to position information on your page. LinkedIn basics, like your headshot, your page "title", your professional summary, and how and from whom to acquire recommendations are also important topics we will discuss.

During the webinar, we will learn about strategies to build a smart, powerful network with LinkedIn; how to check out your competition; the value of joining groups; how to avoid scammers and dubious characters; how to generate material that positions you as a thought-leader, and how all of this supports your success as a business leader.

Our speaker, Wendy Mantel, is a certified professional coach whose clients are Fortune 500 business executives seeking to increase their visibility and differentiate their value. Wendy specializes in personal branding, social media and leadership finesse.
