HBA BOSTON-CAMBRIDGE METRO PRESENTS

Luncheon: Effective Communication

For the better part of every day, we are communicating to and with others. Whether it’s a new policy and procedure that you are reviewing with your staff during a departmental meeting, the level of attention you give your significant other when they are talking with you or the look you give your manager when he/she are providing feedback, it all translates into something. How is it that something we do, day-in and day-out, often gets screwed up?

In this interactive forum we will focus on what it means to be an effective communicator and what potential barriers can inhibit this success. We will focus on the process flow of information, the components of impactful conversations and the importance of our bodies as we share information. If your goal is to raise your self-awareness and connect better with others through effective communication, come and see what tools and techniques might help you accomplish this task.
