Description
Positive psychology is the science of human flourishing; and change is a constant in our healthcare industry. Together, we will learn how positive psychology and change practices can be leveraged for better outcomes.

Positive psychology is a new scientific area of psychology, with the first international conference taking place in 2002. It is the study of what makes people successful. On the other hand, the need for change may have negative connotations. Indeed organizational change may be initiated because of a need to address areas that are not working. Individuals and organizations traditionally plan for change based on identifying and studying what is not working, and base future plans on that broken state.

By employing concepts from positive psychology, change practices can have better outcomes. Even though a change may have an early focus on weakness, applying positive psychology can make a huge difference in the success of that change initiative.  In this webinar, managers and business leaders will learn some critical Positive Psychology concepts that one can apply directly to change initiatives - no matter where your team is in the process.  In addition, we will provide tips on flourishing during change, no matter who is imitating them.  Increasing your knowledge in this very new area is fundamental to your own success and to the success of your organization.

Dr. Beth Cohn author of ChangeSmart™: Implementing Change Without Lowering your Bottom Line and Taking the Leap: Managing Your Career in Turbulent Times…and Beyond will provide you with positive psychology tools and skills that will help you flourish in times of change.
